Flying by

Wow, I don't know about you but today flew by. Which is a good and bad thing.
Lots got accomplished and lots got put to the side to finish another day.
I'll have to post tomorrow about my room redo that I am working on.
One thing I did do, since I promised my boys, was bake chocolate chip cookies. These aren't your ordinary chocolate chip cookies, they are Deceptively Delicious.  Check em out..

Picture from the book

All mixed together

Finished Product

I have to admit they were yummy even with oats and chickapeas aka garbanzo beans. Yummy enough that my husband Eric, couldn't get enough of them. If anyone wants the recipe but doesen't want to buy the book, let me know and I'll email it to you.

Score

Happy Monday. My family and I had a fantastic weekend.
We worked hard in the backyard all day Saturday. Even Jake helped us out.

Then Saturday evening we had dinner at Cheesecake Factory with old friends.. Eric (hubbie left), Dave (old friend right).

Sunday, the boys and I visited two garage sales and found this fantastic chair for only $20 bucks. Tomorrow I'll post about the room redo it will go in once its been all dolled up with paint and new fabric.

Lastly our visit to Home Goods. Couldn't resist these lamps... Now it's a matter of what to do with them.

Last, my little guys love wearing their boots, so I had to include these pics.

Anthro scores

I don't know about you all but I am so happy its Friday and the weekend is here. 2012 opens this weekend and I am hoping the hubbie and I will be able to see it. Other than that, we'll be working hard on our backyard, raking weeds, sifting through dirt, ya know, fun stuff.

On a side note, I was looking for inspiration and decided to head on over to Anthropologie. I am looking for ideas since I am working on various projects for my sons playroom and bedrooms. While browsing the kids section on Anthropologie I came across the most adorable, whimsical little girl clothes.

Last but not least this fantastically fun mushroom stool.
Doesn't it remind you of Alice in Wonderland?

Happy Friday and Happy Weekend!!!

Best,
Sarah xoxo

It's almost time...

New Moon is a comin, oh yah.... New Moon is a comin, New Moon is a comin, New Moon is a comin, oh yah. Is it November 20th yet????

Check out the lastest New Moon Movie Poster

The stars, Bella played by Kristen Stewart and Edward (can I call you Eddie) played by Robert Pattinson are gracing the cover of December's Harpers Bazaar. They sizzle on the cover.

For those of you who've not read the Twilight Series, I say DO IT.. It's not just about vampires it's about unrequited love (as my husband puts it).  I need to go to Fandango now and buy my tickets now. My mother in law has graciously committed herself to babysitting so we can grab a yummy dinner and see NEW MOON.

If only....

Items in this set:
Net-a-porter.com jacket, $900
Diane von Furstenberg dress, $365
Christian Louboutin flats, $266
Christian Louboutin clutch
Old Navy scarf, $10

If only I had an unlimited budget. I am loving this ensemble and all of the colors. I love the  rocker vibe the clutch and jacket give to the look. I feel younger just thinking about wearing it out.
