Mac store here I come.

Friends, how was your weekend?  Ours was great. We visited friends on Saturday where we played in the pool, at the park (this is Jake's name for play structures in backyards) then feasted on delicious BBQ and wine.  Of course there was great conversation with other adults!! Whoo hoo...
Sunday we spent the day working on our backyard reno. I think I'll be able to show some good before/after pics soon, so stay tuned.  Dinner was at the Spaghetti factory with my mom and dad in law followed by a stroll in the fantastic Brainy Zoo toy store.  We picked up washable paint and brushes for the boys.
Today has been off to a rough start.  My computer is giving me grief and I've been online for 2 hours trying to "fix it".  Mac store here I come.

As you can see the boys had a great weekend.  It's great to have a friend who is also a photographer because he seems to capture a moment better than myself. Thanks again Mike!

random

It's official; I am entering the random drawing to participate in the Nike Women's Marathon in San Francisco in October 2010.  Since it is a random drawing I have a chance of not getting in which is a bummer but I am full of hope.  My sis in law Rita said she'll consider doing it with me and I am hoping to get my buddies Laura and Jill on board as well.  Any fellow bloggers interested?  It's a good reason to visit San Francisco and see all of the beautiful sites.

When I ran this (actually the half marathon) back in October of 2008, unbeknownst to me while pregnant with Ryan, I was amazed at how many women came together for this event. It is truly inspiring.

Last night, I began my training at the gym.  I ran and walked for 40 minutes and almost puked while doing it, which I always find to be a good sign.  Weird, I know...
Today the boys and I are off again to the gym so this mama can run while her little kittens play.

On a different note, tomorrow we are having a family photo shoot, with our friend Mike of Mike Gellerman Photography.  We are having our pictures shot at Land Park in Sacramento, which is next to Fairytale Town and the Sacramento Zoo.  Following our mini photo shoot, we'll head over to one of these fun places.  
Much to the chagrin of others, my little men will be wearing matching outfits, yellow polo tops and jeans.  The hubs and I aren't sure what we'll wear...  Should we or should we not match?  Any recommendations?
