Trike Envy

Neiman Marcus recently unveiled their Christmas Book.  And I simply adore the Tory Burch trike.  Perfect for a stroll anywhere.  With only two being produced they'll go quick!

Sierra De Montserrat

Do you like to go on weekends and check out model homes?  I do, as does the hubs.  We haven't done it in awhile but I am thinking that we must get out soon, especially after finding this gorgeous estate online that's in our area.  You might be asking yourself, are they in the market for a home like this?  No, but a girl can dream, right?  The homes at Sierra De Montserrat are luxuriously appointed with high-end appliances and architectural detail.  The sprawling acreage is one of dreams and deep pockets out here in California.  Each home site is situated on 4.6 acres with vineyards as far as the eye can see coupled with a backdrop of the Sierra Foothills leaves one breathless with all of the natural beauty that surrounds this estate.  Without further ado I invite you to explore.....

The open dining room and formal living room.  Normally I am not a fan of these rooms but with the beamed ceiling, rich woods, curved accents I am in love with every detail.

The kitchen is nice and large.  What do you think of this kitchen, hit or miss?

Again, the beamed ceilings add so much detail as does the fireplace, large windows and deep wood floors.  Only negative are those useless accent curtains that all designers add to models, yuck!

This poker room is dignified and luxurious.  The square beamed ceiling, the built-in cabinets and those large open doors add so much character to this room.  The poker table with those nail head chairs up the masculine factor and make this room a true gentleman's retreat.

The hallway to the left is quite a site.  This bedroom is a good size and nice views.

The master bedroom is spacious and the tre ceilings makes it even more open.

The master retreat is a nice touch but I'd make it a home office or gym.

The master bath in marble is classic and elegant.

The pool, a must out here in California.

The sunset, what a site!

I hope you enjoyed the tour, I know I did.  If you want to see more of these homes visit the builder Westwood Homes here.  They built our house and we love it.

Next Friday I'll be back with Follow-up Friday.
Until then,  have a Happy & Safe Halloween my lovelies!

Leona looks to love

Recently I was introduced to the fashions of the young and seriously talented Lauren Leonard, the designer behind the Leona Collection.  And I must say that I am smitten.
Lauren's dresses are stylish, sexy and modern.  The fabrics luxurious yet unique with their bold prints and whimsy details, the perfect combination for any look.
Although the Leona Collection is selling out everywhere, even Taylor Swift's a fan, I am on the lookout to add a few pieces to my closet!  Are you a fan?

I'd like you to meet Choo Ugg

Have you seen them yet?  The new Ugg boats that is.  Jimmy Choo and Ugg have collaborated and come up with these beauties.  What do you think?  Be warned these are the in the price range of most Jimmy Choo shoes.
I guess my Target knock off brand Ugg's at $25 bucks really isn't too expensive.

Bundle up and go

There is something about the cool air that makes me want to grab my running shoes and go.  Does this happen to you?  Since I am ready to run, its time for some new work out gear and lululemon hits the mark this fall.  From the ever comfy groove pants to flowy tanks and stylish coats, I am thinking I'd like one of each.  Lululemon makes hip work out clothes that make me feel that I can go anywhere and look stylish and not as if I just stepped out of the gym.

What's your go to gear for working out?

Look to Love

Zara hits the mark this fall!  I have been searching high and low, actually just online, to find additional pieces to pack into my closet.  I am guessing it's time for the yearly ritual of out with the old and in with the new.  Whom am I kidding, I save clothes far past their expiration date. Regardless of space, I am thinking these warm and cozy looks should be coming to my home soon!
Do you shop Zara?  What looks are you loving?

Pink Palace Day

This is an oldie but a goodie.  Betsey Johnson's NYC apartment screams pink and I love it!  If I was single I would consider a lot more pink in my home.  Betsy's chairs are amazing and that chaise is a dream!  Why the pink palace showcase today, well it's my little way of showing support to October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  I know I am late on this but I am now on the bandwagon showing my team spirit.  Last week, I saw my lady doc and she checked out the girls (they are in the clear) so I feel good about that!  I feel a bit weird telling you all that but it's between friends, right?  All you lovely ladies and gents (yes, men do get breast cancer) check out your chests and make sure you are ok!  For the ladies, maybe let the hubs help you out on this one, I am sure they will happily oblige. ;)
There, I said it.  Now have a great tuesday.  Oh and enjoy the pink.

The B Family Adventures

Does Blogger ever erase your posts? Ugh, it just erased my original post. Oh well, 2nd times a charm, right?
This weekend the B Family Adventures were fantastically fun.  We headed off to Apple Hill to delight in all things apple.
Our first stop of the day was High Hill Ranch.  This place has it all, you can fish for trout, ride a pony, play at the park, eat apples, eat apple pies, eat apple donuts, shop at the craft booths, look for a pumpkin to take home... you get the picture.

Our second stop of the day was Kids Inc. where the yummiest pies, crisps and caramel apples are made.  They also have a shop, food (other than apples), a pumpkin patch and apple orchards that you can walk through and explore their nature trail.

Our third and final stop of the day was in Placerville on our way home.  We decided to eat a late lunch at the fantastic Z Pie where the best gourmet pot pies are served.  If you are ever on your way to Apple Hill or Lake Tahoe make sure to pop by and give em a try, your taste buds will thank you.

In all we had a great weekend relaxing, enjoying our family outings and most importantly, spending time together.  How was your weekend my friends?  What are your trip musts for fall?
